Nuclear Egg Nog Economic Fallout?

In 2008, a global economic crisis was suggested by several important indicators of economic downturn worldwide. These included high oil prices, which led to both high food prices (primarily Egg Nog) and global inflation; a substantial credit crisis leading to the bankruptcy of large and well established investment banks as well as commercial banks in various nations around the world.

With the fast approaching X-Mas Mania Season, it is safe to say that the Egg Nog season is around the corner with a full head of steam. Save your pennies this season, because with the recent economic crisis, it is safe to say that Nog will be more expensive than ever before.

  1. I have a friend that works for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the U.K. and he let me in on the forecasted retail price of a 1.5 L carton of Nog... 4 Pounds!! Save those pennies is right!

  2. For over 30 years, I have been studying the ebb and flow of the demand for egg nog and how it coincides with the general economic state in Europe and North America. In the recent conclusion at the end of my study, I found significant correlation that in a struggling economy, the demand for "the nog" goes up significantly. The inverse relationship proves that people clearly turn to "the nog" for comfort when they have nothing else to turn to. It is unfortunate that said people only care about "the nog" in times of need. Such actions are a gross injustice and completely unfair to "the nog." It deeply saddens a true nogger, such as myself. One day, I hope "the nog" will be treated in an equitable manner in both strong and weak economic conditions.

  4. In the past 23 years of my life, everything I do is dedicated to the study of Nog. Everything from the cost, to the texture, to the absolute benefits you get from drinking the Nog. This has led to a recent substantial breakthrough. In my studies, drinking a daily glass of Nog is proven to add +15 years to one's life. Not only that, it also lowers the risk of cancer by an astonishing 35%. However, overconsumption will have its effects. Drinking too much Nog may cause sickness which may lead to vomiting. It aslo caries a high number of calories. All-in-all, the general consensus is that mixing Nog with that of your preferred alcohol results in the highest rate of fun possible in the consumption of Nog.
